Job Description

Grafton Lisburn is recruiting for Vehicle Maintenance Fitter.

Hours of Work: TBC

Salary: £12.13 per hour

Job Description:

As a member of the Operational Team the post holder will be required to:

Be responsible for maintenance of vehicle fleet to include refuse vehicles, commercial trucks, vans, tractors and heavy plant grounds maintenance equipment.

The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and servicing heavy commercial plant vehicles with preparation for PSV's and MOT.

The successful employee will have other delegated duties appropriate to the post.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, service and carry our maintenance of all required commercial plant vehicles.

Repairs to vehicle plant hydraulics systems.

Fabrication and Welding (Electric and Gas).

Preparing Vehicles for MOT and PSV's

Complete documentation as required.

Carry out vehicle safety checks, preventive maintenance, daily response maintenance and routine maintenance repairs.

Assist in the implementation of Health and Safety procedures.

Ensure that quality standards, work instructions, and records in accordance with Quality Accreditation.
