Job Description

Our client in the Carrickfergus area are looking to recruit a PA to join their team

Summary of the role:

The successful person will work closely with senior managerial staff to provide administrative support. The candidate will help the managers to make the best use of their time by dealing with secretarial and administrative tasks. Discretion and confidentiality are therefore essential attributes for a successful PA

Duties will include:

  • answering telephone calls
  • maintaining diaries
  • arranging appointments
  • taking messages
  • typing/word processing
  • filing
  • organising meetings and taking minutes of meetings
  • using a variety of software packages
  • booking transport and accommodation
  • managing databases
  • implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems
  • liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
  • preparing letters, presentations and reports
  • All other administrative duties as required

Essential Criteria:

  • 5 GCSE'S Grade C+ including Maths and English
  • RSA Stage 2 Word Processing or similar
  • 3 years administrative or PA experience in a Fast paced environment
