Job Description

Our client based in the Portadown area requires a part-time Book-Keeper, 16-20 hours per week. Initially this role is temporary with a view to becoming permanent.

Main Duties:

  • Intercompany reconciliations

  • Prepare monthly stock sheets

  • Quarterly Accruals

  • Quarterly prepayments

  • EEC Sales list

  • Maintaining Purchase and Sales Ledger

  • Credit control

  • Bank reconciliations

  • VAT returns

  • Payroll

  • Liaising with Accountant

  • Answering telephones

  • General administration

Criteria Required:

  • Minimum of one year recent relevant accounting experience
  • Working knowledge of computerised accounting system, ie Sage
  • Educated to GCSE level
  • IT literate
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail
