Payroll Specialist | Permanent| Dublin City Centre

The Client: Located in Dublin City Centre, our client is a leading financial services provider with a well established retail network. Our client is committed to providing simplified financial services solutions to their clients. They are currently experiencing growth in the market with a range of innovative products tailored to suit customer's needs.

The Role: As a Payroll Specialist, you will be required to support key functions within the HR department. You will be responsible for processing a number of business unit payrolls and supporting the operations function with payroll and related administration. Key duties will include:

  • Process and Check Large Payroll runs - Monthly Payrolls
  • Collation of payroll and HR data from HR and time and attendance systems
  • Handle payroll related queries in a timely fashion
  • Process employee timesheets and payroll amendments
  • Respond to HR, Line Manager and Employee queries
  • Complete Payroll Month End
  • P30 / P35 returns PAYE, PRSI, USC
  • Administer third party deductions
  • Complete Revenue / CSO returns
  • Manage instructions to Payroll such as Joiners, Leavers, Sick Leave, PHI, Statutory, Non Statutory Leave, Contract Changes
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with personnel across the various business units and external providers
  • Processing payroll related invoices
  • Ensure payroll processing is adhering to business standards
  • Assist with process improvement across the payroll function

Hours of work: 36.25 hours per week, flexible working arrangements

Requirements:

  • IPASS qualified with at least 2-3 years payroll processing experience
  • Strong IT skills essential and experience with CoreHR and a solid understanding and practical experience in administering compensation and benefit plans
  • Experience in a multi-faceted organisation with strong relationship management abilities
  • A proven track record in developing solutions and improving processes
  • Previous people management experience a distinct advantage
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a financial services or banking
  • Degree in Business or related field
