Part time Poultry Production Lecturer required for a local government organisation based in Antrim.
Starting ASAP potentially until March 2018
3.5 hours per week usually Wednesdays and Fridays
Pay rate: 0-12 consecutive weeks £9.25ph then increases on week 13 to £16.21ph
Duties will include:
Planning and preparing lectures, tutorials, industry visits and assessments to deliver the learning outcomes relevant to Poultry production within modules of the BSc (honours) degree in Agricultural Technology and the Foundation degree in Agriculture and Technology;
- Delivery poultry production lecturers, tutorials, industry visits to students enrolled on the BSc (honours) degree in Agricultural technology and the Foundation degree in Agriculture and Technology;
- Marking student assessments on poultry production (assignments and exam questions) and providing feedback to students;
- Collating and recording student marks and presenting to module coordinator;
Degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Science, Agricultural Technology or equivalent qualification (eg. Animal Science)
Agriculture - Practical and applied knowledge of all sectors of poultry production including knowledge of the NI Poultry industry
Previous experience of delivery and assessment of student learning is also beneficial.
