Procurement Assistant required on a temporary basis for a local Public Sector organisation based in Bangor.
Role: Procurement Assistant
Rate of Pay: Negotiable
Location: Bangor, Co. Down
Hours: 36 hours per week - Monday to Thursday (8:45am - 5pm) & Friday (8:45am - 4:45pm)
Duration: up to 6 months
- The post holder will be responsible for assisting the Procurement Officer in the provision of procurement support across the organisation including undertaking tender competitions and providing support to Officers at all stages of tendering process from initiation meeting with client to award and contract management within the constraints of EU and UK directives.
- 2 GCE A-Levels or equivalent
- Relevant experience including assisting with the preparation of tender documentation, providing advice and guidance on all stages of the procurement process and contract management.
- Experience in the use of eProcurement Systems (Desirable)
- Excellent ICT skills
