Procurement Project Lead required for a leading public body in Belfast. This is a fixed term contract role until December 2020. You will be a Construction Procurement Specialist who will play a fundamental role, delivering a robust procurement strategy in line with public procurement legislation.
As Procurement Project Lead, you will report to the Head of Procurement and be responsible for ensuring that all procurement programmes are managed and that all spend is in line with the capital plan. It will be your job to ensure that links are maintained between contract documents for procurement packages to achieve the best strategic outcome. You will develop and implement sourcing strategies and conduct reviews of procurement documentation, migrating risk.
This is a fixed term contract post until December 2020 (subject to business needs). Working hours are 37.5 per week and competitive salary is available. Other benefits include pension, death in service, performance related pay. Rate of pay is negotiable depending on the successful Buyer.

The successful Procurement Project Lead will have a minimum of five years experience in construction procurement within a public services/ utilities environment. CIPS membership is essential.
