Sales and Marketing Coordinator (Events)

My client, a well known Wedding Venue are seeking a vibrant, outgoing and professional candidate who enjoys customer facing and providing top class service to clients who are planning special occasions.

This role will see you work as part of a close knit team and deliver first class service to all clients, your attention to detail and efficient work ethic will ensure those special memories last a life time for all the right reasons.

Main Duties:

  • To provide support to the Sales & Marketing Manager & Wedding & Events Manager
  • General Sales both internally and externally to the Hotel
  • Receive and screen all telephone and email communication
  • Wedding Showaround's & Follow-Up's
  • Working with the Sales & Marketing Manager to advertise and promote the Hotel
  • Attendance at Trade Shows/Industry Fairs
  • Monitoring and maintaining websites/social media platforms

Skills and Experience:

  • Organised, pro-active individual who is always one step ahead and able to quickly anticipate the needs of others.
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and Hotel Front Desk System systems a bonus
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail is essential.
  • Extensive experience in diary management.
  • Weekend Work included in this role
