Job Description

Sales Executive

Grafton are recruiting on behalf of a leading communications company for a Sales Executive. You will support growth and expand sales in networks and associated cloud services business. Our client has an established network Services business and is seeking an experienced sales professional to add new customers and grow sales in this area.


Responsibilities:

· To actively seek out new business, self-generate and close opportunities

· Proactive prospecting, building, winning and account management of new customer base built by sales person

· Primary selling of associated cloud secure solutions

· Responsible for identifying new market opportunities

· Responsible for the continual targeting of new accounts all to be delivered against agreed targets in an agreed time frame

· Responsible for the on-going management of customer base built

· To liaise with key internal departments

· Adhering to and developing Business Management System

· Ensuring maintenance and upkeep of the Customer Database to improve sales effectiveness

· Providing all necessary information to ensure that customers orders are processed in an efficient manner

· To attend all sales meeting and training courses

· To keep fully up to date with product knowledge and the comparable services provided by competitors


Essential Criteria:

· 3 years sales experience selling within an ICT B2B marketplace

· Educated to GCSE level including passes in English and Maths

· Have experience selling into and managing a variety of accounts across small medium and large organisations

· Excellent prospecting, qualification and selling skills

· Ability to manage and develop new sales

· Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets by Sales Manager

· Excellent negotiation and influencing skills

· Ability to proactively generate new sales opportunities

· Excellent communicator on telephone, face to face and in writing

· Must be able to work on own initiative and take decisions within company policy


Desirable Criteria:

· Experience of selling data network services

· Experience of selling network and cloud based services and products
