Sales Support Administrator

Newry, County Down

Temporary with a view to Permanent

The Client

Located in Newry, County Down, our client is a global exporter and manufacturer of award winning construction equipment and a forerunner in industry compliance and customer confidence

The Role

As a Sales Support Administrator, you will work closely with the external Sales team to ensure customer requirements are accurately identified, communicated and processed to meet/exceed customer expectations.

Duties will include

  • Identifying communicating and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement and measuring their effectiveness
  • Responding promptly to customer enquiries
  • Qualifying customer requirements with Sales Manager/Customer and liaising with Engineering where necessary to confirm
  • Providing support function to Sales Managers in terms of specific requirements, product knowledge and ad hoc administration duties
  • Entering sales orders onto the order system in an accurate and timely manner
  • Generating works orders for non-stock made to order items
  • Updating the production schedule daily
  • Updating daily despatch schedule and preparing despatch paperwork
  • Facilitating customer payments
  • Sourcing quotes for deliveries and transportation


Applicants must have 2 years experience in a relevant sales support role and be able to demonstrate ability on MS applications and Sales Order Processing.
