Grafton HR is delighted to be representing our client, a leading manufacturing organisation based in County Down, with the appointment of a Senior HR Advisor on a full time permanent basis.
As a member of the UK HR team, the Senior HR Advisor will act as a key influencer both within the HR function and with colleagues across the business.
The post holder will play a supportive role to the UK HR Manager in ensuring that all functions within the HR department meet the needs of the business.
The Senior HR Advisor will deputise for the UK HR Manager.

HR Project Work
The successful candidate must be able to clearly demonstrate the following skills and experience:-
Significant experience of working in a generalist HR capacity in a complex organisation including experience of managing the recruitment cycle, ER casework, performance and absence management, talent management etc.
Thorough understanding and application of employee and industrial relations practices (preferably in a unionised environment)
Up-to-date knowledge of NI/UK employment legislation
Third level relevant degree or equivalent and CIPD qualified or working towards.
Proven experience of project management - implementing from conception to completion
Knowledge and application of learning and development systems
Excellent IT skills
Experience and proven ability to logically prepare detailed analysis of data and processes of HR functions.
Must be able to travel to other sites as required - sometimes at short notice
Manufacturing environment experience.
Experience dealing with multi sites is preferred.
Specific knowledge of training suppliers and learning/skill institutions in NI/UK
would be a distinct advantage.
Experience in delivering training programmes
£30 - £35k + excellent benefits and bonus
