Senior Valuer
Grafton are recruiting on behalf of a leading Estate Agent for a Senior Valuer. This is a fantastic opportunity to further and develop your career with a forward thinking company. You will have excellent Customer Service skills and a motivated and team orientated attitude.
Responsibilities:
· Administer all aspects of property valuations - sales and rentals
· Self-generate new business via canvassing
· Collect information about a property; take photographs and measurements; advertise; and conduct viewings
· Liaise with potential sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants
· Estimate the sale or rental value of a property
· Register new applicants
· Arrange and attend sales and lettings viewings
· Market and promote properties for sale and to let
· Send out details of new properties on the market to people on your database
· Prepare Sales and Lettings brochures and promotional information
· Monitor sales and lettings progress
· Represent sellers in negotiation with prospective buyers
· Find buyers in a position to proceed with purchase and willing to pay an acceptable price
· Monitor sales as they proceed, and liaise with all interested parties -including mortgage brokers, solicitors, surveyors and other estate agents
· Deal with the public, showing strong levels of customer service
· Make sure that the price agreed is acceptable to both buyer and seller
· Keep up to date with trends in the relevant property market
· Vet prospective tenants by collecting references and carrying out credit checks
· Ensure properties meet legal and health and safety requirements, e.g. gas safety certificates
· Act as a property negotiator and resolve any issues that arise with properties
· Use online media to market properties and communicate with clients
· Research and plan marketing goals
· Provide excellent customer service
· Carry out any reasonable instruction from the management team
