Job Description

Title: Temporary Sharepoint Developer

Duration: 6 Months, Immediate Start

Hours: 9am-5.30pm Monday - Friday

Client: Our client is a government agency which has been charged with developing the new Campus. The role is based in a historic building at the heart of the new campus, the campus has a canteen and the DIT have an onsite gym that is open to the public. The campus is approximately 1.5 kilometres from Dublin's City Centre with good transport links via luas/bus, with car parking and cycling facilities provided. Our client is part of a small team working on delivering a big project.

Role: Improve the Clients utilisation of SharePoint and Office 365. Design, develop and testing SharePoint/ Office 365 applications to meet the Client's business requirements. Implement an information management strategy and IT processes that can scale up as the capacity and needs grow. The role will involve the implementation and training across the Agency and with various stakeholders. The role is to update the Clients IT process and ensure content and data management is fit for purpose.

Candidate: If you are a motivated and innovative person that has 2-3 years' experience working as part of a team in developing a MS SharePoint 2013/16 deployment and has experience with Office 365 in the workplace this role will suit you. The right person should have the ability to work on their own initiative and possess good project/IT problem solving skills and have experience of content management. The right person should be able to demonstrate how they have developed and implemented processes within an organisation. The right person should be able to engage with IT infrastructural and service providers on existing and new projects. An in-depth understanding of security and the risks around information sharing and control. The person should have strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with others.

In Return: This role will allow you to gain great experience, and allow you to develop and home your skills in a small organisation deployment on a 6 month project, this will allow you to prove yourself and give you the experience that you will need to step up to running a team on your next endeavour. Salary: €40,000 - 50,000 DOE
