Grafton Technology has teamed up with a new entrant to Belfast to recruit for a number off Application Support Engineers to join a new and growing team. This isn't your ordinary Support Engineer role; this is a chance to join the client services team, which is part of a well-established Fintech firm headquartered in the US.
The global team is filled with top-notch technical individuals that are excited to be building a new service offering and experience for their customers. As the Application Support Engineer you will liaise closely with the data analysis, product management and development teams to ensure optimal execution of end-to-end client deliverables.
Day to day will involve assisting with the management of client relationships including on-boarding new customers. You'll provide data analysis and technical support including investigating and troubleshooting operational issues across a range of different technologies and functions. It will be your responsibility to contribute to the design and development of new tools and scripts to facilitate troubleshooting of service issues.
To be considered for this role it is important that you have previous experience in a commercial environment, rock solid Linux knowledge, and strong SQL, networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills. It would be an added bonus if you have had exposure to Scripting Shell/Perl/Python.
