Job Description
Job Title: Supply Planner Role
Department: Supply Chain Planning
Salary: 30-40K plus
To optimise the delivery of goods, services and information from supplier to customer, balancing supply and demand. Maintain optimum stock levels and ensure efficient scheduling of deliveries
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Placing & Expediting of purchase orders
- Forecast consumer demand using statistical and collaborative forecasting techniques
- Plan and execute seasonal strategies
- Plan and execute New Product Introductions and Forecasts
- Long term quarterly and weekly forecasting of products and responsible for the accuracy of those forecasts
- Work on own initiative, to gather and circulate information needed to make decisions and drive the business
- Monitor inventory levels on a daily basis - ensuring min & max at optimum levels
- Report any deviation from the plan and implement corrective actions where required.
- Managing supplier relationships and improving the processes (lead times etc.)
Job Requirements:
- 2-3 years' experience in purchasing/planning/scheduling/ inventory management
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, should have the ability to evaluate, analyse and present data
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, commercial & organisational skills
- Advanced Excel skills desirable
