Job Description

Grafton Recruitment is Northern Ireland's largest employment agency with a branch network of 7 offices throughout Northern Ireland. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Administrator. Our client is a market leader in fire and security alarm systems and is looking to appoint an experienced candidate for a 1 year Fixed-Term Contract.

Job Details:

-1 year Fixed-Term Contract

-£16 to £19k depending on experience

-Mon to Fri 0830-1700

-Parking available

-Start date ASAP

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Typing duties to electrical fire & security sales team:

  • Security Quotations (audio typing)
  • Fire Quotations
  • Security Specifications (audio typing)
  • Fire Specifications
  • Tender Applications and Contracts

Sales Order Processing

  • Process job files
  • Submit for Credit vetting
  • Process installation and commissioning certificates
  • Prepare engineer job packs
  • Complete weekly/monthly reports


  • Book in new stock
  • Order replacement stock
  • Order toners and ensure maintenance on photocopiers

General Duties

  • Typing
  • H&S Questionnaires
  • Filing
  • Secretarial duties for sales team
  • Helping to process sales orders when colleagues are on holiday

Essential Criteria:

-1 year office administration experience

-Experience processing sales orders

-Excellent typing skills

-Experience working with tenders is desirable

-Audio typing skills preferable

-High standard of written and verbal communication skills
